The Head Haven is a serene head spa and wellness studio based in Portsmouth, UK, specialising in Japanese head spa treatments that blend intentional relaxation with advanced scalp and hair rejuvenation. Designed as a calming escape for both mind and body, The Head Haven offers a restorative experience focused on scalp health, stress relief and holistic self-care, inviting clients to reset, relax and feel their best through thoughtful, personalised treatments in a peaceful setting.
The Goal
Owner of the Head Haven, Sally, wanted authentic, high-quality photos and videos that captured the calming, professional offering of her new business, ready to post on social media.
What I Did
I had a discovery call with Sally to discuss her requirements and vision. I used this to create a bespoke shot list in order to capture all the relevant footage on the day, and to maximise our time together.
I spent two hours on location capturing photos and videos, including behind-the-scenes content, the customer experience, and product spotlights. I worked with my fabulous model, Abbie, to create real-life shots of what customers can expect when they visit The Head Haven for a treatment.
The Results
I delivered a gallery of ‘ready to post’ content, with some supporting B-roll, which allowed Sally to create visually consitent social media posts without the pressure of creating the content herself!
